Dominator Base Renew Purple Wax: 100-400g
Description
The ultimate base prep wax for either post stone grind use, new ski prep or race & general base prepping as one application is equivalent to multiple applications of a normal soft wax.
ReNew wax is a eeply penetrating base conditioners, providing base impregnation and surface protection. Why condition the base? Dry base is a very common problem caused by several factors: stonegrinding, use of base cleaners, aggressive snow, repetitive use of hard waxes, and failure to wax. Additionally, new skis and boards can have dry bases because factory wax, often buffed on, is non-penetrating. Cleaning and conditioning the base is also necessary to remove old wax and dirt and to keep it from drying. Renew wax is a unique blend of ultra-soft and ultra-hard waxes working together to saturate and protect in one easy ironing step. The ultra-soft waxes penetrate deeply to condition the base, while the ultra-hard waxes stay close to the surface to protect against abrasive snow and form a neutral layer that will not interfere with the glide wax.
Many users clean and condition the base using a very soft glide wax because of its penetrating and cleaning properties. This, however, leaves a layer of very soft wax on the surface which will change whatever glide wax is chosen for the snow condition. Furthermore, the Renew formula is far more efficient in saturating the base than conventional soft (yellow), or hard (turquoise) waxes:
For best results leave the skis for at least 3 hours after ironing so the ski & wax can fully cool. Then scrape & brush with either a soft fine steel brush or a brass brush.
After using Base Renew apply Dominator Zoom Lime Universal wax as the final wax.
400g is sufficient for approx 25-35 pairs of skis depending on the size of the skis & the amount applied.

UK Shipping
Orders shipped within the UK will be sent by either Royal Mail Tracked 48, Royal Mail Tracked 24 or UPS Standard and the required service can be selected at check-out. We will endeavour to despatch orders on the day of receipt or the following working day at the latest. If you require a different form of shipping, ie Royal Mail Special Delivery, then please call/email Ori with your requirements prior to placing an online order. Please allow for extended delivery times at Christmas, New Year and Bank Holidays etc.We reserve the right to send high value goods by a signed-for service (at our additional cost) even if a lower cost service is selected.Specific delivery requests will be noted however for security reasons our shipping partners may not always be able to comply, ie "please leave behind the shed" etc.
Overseas Shipping
Our online store is configured for UK shipping but we regularly ship goods all around the world so if you require overseas shipping simply send an email to Ori detailing your itemised list of requirements plus full shipping address & we'll quote you a shipped price by return.
The prices shown in the online store include 20% VAT for purchases within the UK however this tax will be deducted for orders being exported outside of the UK. Export orders will only be shipped by a signed-for service as proof of export is required by the UK authorities for VAT free sales. Any import charges/taxes applied to export orders by the receiving country are the responsibility of the purchaser.
